‘Splainin’ to Do: Episode 1

Another long-time project of mine has been to start produced a series of explainer videos tackling basic issues in law as applied to Kansas. And through the power of Biteable, that's finally a reality! ...well, the start of a reality. You need multiple videos to achieve a "series", after all.

The first entry is on the importance of wills when dealing with when a decedent has a spouse and children, step- and natural. Kansas intestate succession provides that, when a decedent has a spouse and children, the spouse takes half of the estate and the children the other half. "Children", however, includes only biological and adopted children, but not stepchildren.

Your feedback, is as always, appreciated.
